‘Nothing Immoral Or Illegal Here’: See The WORST GOP Responses To The Roy Moore Sex Scandal!

The GOP was salivating like a dog with a steak when Harvey Weinstein, a big Democratic donator, was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.

But when their own Senate candidate faces allegations in a bombshell Washington Post report that he molested and

He never outright said he didn’t believe the women; he just said he didn’t know what happened and by they way did you know a lot of women make up stories for money or political gain?

Here’s a particularly gross interchange with cohost Lydia McLaughlin:

“HANNITY: How do you possibly tell, know the truth, except — OK, so the two other girls were older in this case. He was apparently, like, 32, and he dated — one girl was 18, one girl was 17. They never said he did — there was no sexual — there was kissing involved, and then they’re saying this one encounter with a 14-year-old –

MCLAUGHLIN: And it was consensual –

HANNITY: And consensual, that’s true. And there’s — I just — I don’t know how you find out the truth.”

Consensual? With a 14-year-old?? A CHILD CANNOT GIVE CONSENT!

Later he actually sort of apologized after the clip went viral on Twitter but then said that he had been taken out of context.

Hannity attests he and McLaughlin were referring to the 17 and 18-year-old when they said “consensual,” not the 14-year-old. Hmm.

That organization he’s talking about is Media Matters, and they didn’t take him out of context; they published audio AND a transcript of his entire conversation, which you can hear and read HERE.

How about this? Here’s video of Hannity and the legal analyst he invited onto his TV show Thursday night, who said most women fabricate claims for money you see “time and time and time again” but actual victims of predators are “very few and far between.”

The context is, Hannity comes off as the SANE voice in that conversation, the one not making outrageous claims. But it’s his show, and he invited that person on — not to mention the fact he failed to call her out as a liar and an enabler for making such a horrifically damaging statement.

How’s that for context, Sean?

BTW, speaking of interviewing “guests of all points of view” Hannity invited Moore himself to come on his show today to defend himself. So yeah.
